ACHIEVEMENTS IN COMMUNITY EXCELLENCE AWARDS

The 2024 Achievements in Community Excellence Awards was held on January 18. The annual event serves as a platform to honor companies and individuals who have substantially impacted the Airport, the City, and our community. The ACE Awards also provided the Executive Airport with the opportunity to thank key stakeholders for their invaluable support.

AVIATION SAFETY EXPO

FXE is proud to host our Annual Aviation Safety Exposition. The Airport welcomes the entire aviation community from south Florida including career pilots, general aviation pilots, student pilots, aircraft owners, and aircraft operators to a half-day event with a full schedule of presenters, keynote speakers, static aircraft displays, and other information of interest. 

UPTOWN 5K ON THE RUNWAY

The Uptown 5K on the Runway is an annual charity fundraising event hosted by FXE in collaboration with the Trustbridge Hospice Foundation. The event spotlights Trustbridge's efforts to deliver exceptional care to our community — all proceeds help the Trustbridge Hospice Foundation fund initiatives to support those facing life-limiting ailments. FLY PINK

Every October, Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport hosts Fly Pink to raise awareness for breast cancer prevention and help improve the lives of Fort Lauderdale Community Builders and Airport tenants and raises money for community breast cancer charities.

JUNIOR FIRE EXPLORERS

Junior Fire Explorers Camp exposes the next generation to the various career paths in Fire-Rescue and Aviation by allowing them to have hands on training and direct contact with professional in these fields.
