The FXE Master Plan Update outlines a plan for the provision of future facilities and infrastructure to accommodate the forecast demand through 2037 and is consistent with the standards and methodologies outlined in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circular (AC) 150/5070-6B, Airport Master Plans, and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Guidebook for Airport Master Planning.

This summary highlights key elements of the plan’s recommended development program. It is designed for stakeholders to gain an overview of major matters addressed in the detailed Master Plan report. While the Master Plan is a visionary document that sets out a ‘road map’ for the sustainable growth of the Airport, it is not an approval for any specific development or project.
